A welcome initiation to glamorous camping in the boreal forest

We like to call this Glamping. It is the most perfect way to rekindle you kinship with mother nature. Roast marshmallows over a campfire, experience a historic hike, and paddle your way to Wawaitin Falls. This is a sample itinerary. Each package can be customized for group size, age, interest, and timing. Alterations resulting from unforeseeable circumstances may occur. Your guides’ utmost priority is your safety, please follow their instructions closely.

DAY 1

Get picked up at the Timmins airport around mid-day, for an introductory ride to Wawaitin Holiday Park. Meet your host and guide, take in orientation, registration, wilderness and water safety. Be served a fantastic outdoor meal by the great bonfire. This will be your first of two special nights, sleeping under the stars of the boreal forest in an authentic prospector canvas tent.

DAY 2

Awaken to a morning meal before your guide takes you for a ceremonial hike to visit High Falls. Experience a leisurely downstream paddle to the Dalton Road bridge; lots of great scenery and wildlife along the way. Your guide will bring you back to Wawaitin Holiday Park for a superb wildlife dinner and some locally sourced fine wine. End the day sitting by a sparkling, warm bonfire.

DAY 3

Enjoy the morning rise of the sun and photograph our true nature before a quick shower or a dip in Kenogamissi Lake, followed by a hearty breakfast. Our guide will shuttle you back to the airport in time for your flight home. We hope you come back soon!
